4.0 out of 5 starsGood value for money
30 October 2016
Device reviewed: Integral Courier 128 GB USB Flash Drive

In comparison with the similar product be market leader Sandisk, the Cruzer Blade 128, you get
- 1.2% less capacity; 117844 MB instead of 119268 MB
- 33% slower raw read speed
- 16.8% higher raw write speed
The file transfer speeds in either direction operating on big - several GB - files are however almost identical between both devices.
Apparently intelligent buffering in the controllers does its work. So in everyday use you will barely notice a difference.

Given the about 20% lower price of the Intergral device it is a very worthy contender.

3.0 out of 5 starsCheap but very slow

It works and the price is very good for a 128GB flash drive, however the downside is it's very slow, hence why I only gave it 3 stars. It takes forever to transfer large files across to it. I transferred a 12 episode TV Series to it to watch on my Blu-ray player on my big screen TV, and I can say for certain it takes much longer than other flash drives i've used for the same purpose.

Have you seen the Jack-in-the-Green?
5.0 out of 5 starsSeem to be good.

Style: USB 2.0Size: 128GBVerified Purchase
It's hard to get hold 128GB USB sticks at present, so I was worried that these would be rubbish, given their affordable price. They are constructed much like any regular USB stick, they're not exceptionally tough or anything - but built well enough. When I connected them to my laptop I checked them with GNU Parted and discovered the partitions weren't aligned on them, hence data transfer rates would be a little slow. I deleted their partition tables and made a new table with a single partition spanning as much of each disk as I could, but aligned correctly. I then formatted them with the EXT2 filesystem. USB performance on Linux is slow for this type of storage, and the EXT2 filesystem makes this slower still; however performance was perfectly acceptable on these. I backed up a bunch of data to them and verified it all, and it seems to be fine. The first stick wrote the data very quickly, and it was done by the time I came back to my computer a few hours later. The second stick wrote the data pitifully slowly, at around about 1MiB/second; however readback speeds were completely acceptable. I put this down to potentially me messing up somewhere when specifying the partition or filesystem options. All in all decent USB sticks - and if you're a Windows user, you'll probably find they're very quick.

5.0 out of 5 starsIncredible capacity and 100% reliability

Style: USB 2.0Size: 128GBVerified Purchase
It’s all good and working well, really good value considering the capacity. My old 16GB one of these, and I’m only guessing here, but I think lasted possibly about 10 years! It looks exactly the same, so I can’t go wrong here I think. Think I’m responsible for breaking my old one anyway by not switching off my printer first before disconnecting as I couldn’t find an eject memory stick option on the printer. I find it’s a really nice easy option for getting my pictures from my laptop to the printer, don’t need to bother with software at all.

5.0 out of 5 starsAmazing memory size for such a low price

I remember buying my first stick pen drive many years ago, it was 550mb and it was very expensive. It amazing that we now have 64GB pen drives at such a great price. I have always bought this type of flash drive in the past (integral) and have never experienced any problems or errors. Would always buy again in the future.

5.0 out of 5 starsGood value and solid build, just don`t expect high speeds
5 January 2019
Style: USB 2.0Size: 128GBVerified Purchase
Good solid all rounder, have used Integral stuff over the years without problems.
This is not as fast as my Sandisk 128gb stick, but ok if you`re not in a hurry! Copying speed with large files (3-4gb) is around 4mb/s, so not superfast, but you get what you pay for.
Reliability is a factor for me, as well as solid build, and long term retention of data. It comes formatted as exfat, so advisable to reformat to NTFS for storage of large files.
Recommended.

I want a flash drive to keep on my keyring. It's the only way I have to ensure it's kept with me. As it's going to live in my pocket the business end needs to be capped to keep the contacts clean. And somehow I don't think having keys dangling from a plugged in USB drive is a good thing for the longevity of the connectors so the key ring attachment loop needs to be on the cap and not on the body or it needs to be readily detachable from the keys with a carabiner arrangement. I couldn't find the latter option in USB 3. ASAICS this product is about the only choice. It fills that brief. This version is much faster than the USB 2 versions. The only downside is that it's a but plasticky. My original Courier which, admittedly, had leated for years broke on being dropped. Its successor also got slightly damaged and a litter erratic. A version with a stronger, metal case would be a 5 star item.

3.0 out of 5 starsThe build quality is poor and it falls appart fairly quickly.

Style: USB 3.0Size: 32GBVerified Purchase
Be careful with this usb drive. The build quality is poor and it falls appeart fairly quickly. This USB circuit board starts getting pulled out of the housing. At the moment I have to squeeze the case when I pull it out of the USB port. It works O.K and is fairly quick but you have to replace the unit as the housing fails before the eletronics inside the housing. I used Super Glue and Seloptape to patch up my 16GB to extend its working life. See attached image.
