Top positive review
Brilliantly funny romantic comedy with plenty of 'laugh-out-loud' moments and great performances from the lead characters.

This is one of only a handful of comedies that has caused me to laugh out loud to such an extent my wife wondered what on earth I was watching.
This is a brilliantly funny film but what makes it particularly enjoyable is Diane Keaton's and Jack Nicholson's acting. Their timing, delivery of lines, facial expressions and the way they interact represents for me a masterclass in comedic acting and one that any young actor wanting to improve their comedic skills would benefit from watching. In this respect, I also thoroughly enjoyed Frances McDormand's performance, even though she had only a minor role in this film.
The plot is not as far fetched as some rom-coms and in many respects this is quite an uplifting film. So if you are in need of cheering up, or just want to let your hair down and have a laugh, then watching this film may well fit the bill.
