Top critical review

Beware of the old revision: I mistakenly purchased the first edition of the book (from 2009). Good that I realised it early.
It's actually interesting: if you open PRINCE2 Study Guide: 2017 Update (Paperback) page and click on Kindle Edition button from there, you'll get the FIRST ebook edition open. As a workaround, search for 'PRINCE2 Study Guide: 2017 Update ebook' directly and you'll get the right ebook.
About the book itself:
I used this book as the main prep material and passed the exams finally but I should say I found it quite bad and boring. Lots of water, duplicated info, very few schemas or charts but flow described in text. I read it during my commute mostly and it was tough as I was falling asleep after 2 minutes. It took me around 4 (!) months to finish it in relaxed mode. Yes, it brings you the result but I can't recommend it. The best prep materials I heard of are:
a. Live training. 2 days and you’re done, no time wasted. Costs much more than the book though.
b. The official manual. I heard people managed to pass both Prince2 exams after 2 weeks of intensive post-work study of the book. It’s 3.5 times more expensive than this book though.
