As other reviewers have pointed out - these books make science accessible in a meaningful way. The narrative works brilliantly (format perfect for bedtime!), telling a simple story based around key facts. Illustrations are just right, and the book itself is of a good quality. We have collected the series for our 5 year old who has thoroughly enjoyed them.
One star deducted for this one, however, as it is the weakest in the series. Whether it's the subject matter or the format, it just doesn't hold attention in the same way as the others in the series. That said, it's still a quality children's science book - which shows how good the other ones are.
