I'm not sure of the origins of this album as I have read so many different stories regarding it. But one thing can be said, there isn't a dud song on it. It's a great pity that James Griffin wasn't more successful outside of Bread, and even there he was over-shadowed by David Gates! The older I get the more I appreciate James's voice, in fact I now think he should have been the main lead vocalist with Bread not David.
James is in fine voice throughout this album, and like his 1970's solo albums there are many styles here from country to blues, but all fitting wonderfully together. Great album and a must for all Bread fans!
