Customer Review

on 28 October 2009
I found this book to be less about "Astronauts in their own words" and more a brief history of space travel with a few astronauts words for each section. Saying this though i was still hooked. This book gives you a brief insight into the space race and space travel from the early era's of space travel to even the future. It manages to do this in a way that feeds you the information without ocnfusing or boring you and just gets to the point. I feel this book is more of a brief history so if you want detail then give it a miss, (E.G. The apollo 13 mission is summed up in just a few pages) If however you want more of an overview and you can then research further the parts that most interest you then this is definatly a book for you.

Top buy, a must have for anyone just getting interested in space.
