Not a patch on the previous novels,
This review is from: The School for Husbands (Hardcover)
I was very disappointed with this latest by Wendy Holden. I have read all her other books and really enjoyed them but this one I nearly abandoned in the middle. The story line is very lame and while it has the rare amusing line, it is nowhere near as funny as her previous novels. Yes, as a wife I could relate to all 'lessons' the husbands have to go through but the rest of the story was so boring.
I had the feeling all along that this was a book churned out to fulfil the publisher's contract. Glad I borrowed it from the library instead of paying out good money for it!
