Unfortunately, although I thought I took reasonable care I have been through 2 of these in the last 3 to 4 years. Bought and used for home use. They both jammed up and the blades buckled into each other. I never tried feeding the advertised maximum into them. I have been told by a sales guy that it is the very thin paper that causes the problem because they wrap round the blades and clog the mechanism up, whether that is true or not I don't know. I have to say I got the first one replaced without hassle by the supplier within a matter of days of returning it, so I was quite pleased about that. I expect if I returned the second one I would get similar service but I've decided to buy a more sturdy (I hope) shredder. They were a very good price and appeared to work well up to the point they jammed. So all I advise is to make sure you keep your receipt and guarantee.
