This case certainly looks the part: it has combination locks and clasps on the side that helps to hold a full load securely. The only problem is that it is not built as strongly as it looks and the fittings inside are not perfectly aligned and the side walls are relatively easily to push out of shape, putting into question the case's durability over time. It's not shoddy, but it is not great either and I would not trust my best photographic gear in it. I am using it to carry various bits of video gear and, providing it doesn't get too heavy, it should be okay. Ordinarily, I find Walimex photographic products to be well made and good value, but I think they have missed a trick with this case. A good flight case for photographic gear can cost many times the price of this case, so you cannot expect the best and I suppose for around £40.00 this is quite inexpensive, but you might consider paying more to get better quality.
