Customer Review

on 30 July 2010
The book by Peter Warr gives a good overview of the scholarly literature, old and recent, on the relationship between work and happiness of people. He does so with a viewpoint from psychology, but also discusses findings on this subject from other fields, like economic sciences and sociology. Subdivision in chapters works fine for quick reference.
I do not particularly like his emphasis on the 'vitamin model' of the ingredients of happiness at work, but the way he uses it throughout the book in a consequent manner helps to structure the material.
