Pity these only go up to 64GB - the sooner someone invents them the capacity of a laptop hard-disk the better. I know you can get external hard disks for back up but you tend to need a bit of computer knowledge to make them work, whereas with these little beasts you just plug it into a USB socket, press the little button on the device, and it just gets on with it, no messing. You will be offered on screen your choice of what to back up - like most people I chose Documents, and Photographs. They are usually the worst bits to lose if your laptop crashes or gets stolen. This review will be pertinent to all the SanDisk backup devices, just choose the one with the capacity you want. I've also used a 32GB on my son's laptop and it performed well. Remember when using this to give it time to do all the backups, let it finish! Steve Riches, Northampton, UK.
