Customer Review

on 9 May 2013
Where to begin? Orchid are the estranged children of Sabbath, they take the spirit of the Ozzy era Sabbath and make it their own. This in it's own right makes me smile for the whole duration of the album, and for the rest of the day . From start to the end of the album there is not a bad song (in my opinion). The album grooves with the swagger of the 70's, the tonal epic-ness of the instruments and ambience breathe like some deep breathing Buddhist monk. Theo's vocals are awesome, the bass is a hybrid of Geezer Butler and James Jameson, the drums are Bonham-esq and swinging not to mention the amazing riif-tastic force of the guitar (think Iommi).
I highly recommend this album to all fans of Sabbath, don't be to hard on this band enjoy it for what it is Sabbath would of wrote this album themselves it is that good. Peace and go through the "hole in the sky" \m/
