3.0 out of 5 stars Nice, just nice, 27 Sept. 2011
This review is from: Classic (Audio CD)
Bought this off the back of the television series Popstar To Opera Star - Joe McElderry has a lovely voice and has a beautiful tone. He sings with passion and care - some of the tracks were not for me, but in all this is a CD you can listen to in those mellow moments. I also bought a copy of the same CD as a gift and this was very well received. Joe is a talented young man and I hope his career goes from strength to strength :-)

Bobs says:
The version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow we had come across years back and it appears in a beautiful scene from the Film : Returning Lily. Joe's version has brought joy to a saddened home over the last weeks. We are and remain great fans, sadly though we fear pushing the cd through on the back of the TV show has left him vulnerable as he secures his feet in the more classical domain and has it would appear to have been encouraged "to run before he can walk". Patience and study will conquer all though we are sure.
