Lovely book to read, more for the chef than the housewife though!,

This is a beautiful book to have in your recipe collection (if you are a cookbook junkie like me). The photos are fantastic and the recipes are very different to the usual fare in most cookbooks. The feel of the book is very summery and Australian and you can wistfully imagine yourself sipping a glass of chardy while delicately eating the beautiful dishes on a beautiful day.
So, why the 3 stars? Well, I've had this book for about 3 years now and haven't ventured to try a single recipe. It's very "chefy" - if you are an experimental cook and love sourcing different ingredients you'll love it. If, however, you are like me and enjoy cooking but know your limits then you'll find it a bit daunting.
Having said that, if you're after a bit of an escape and fancy a cookbook that'll give you a dreamy couple of hours with a glass of wine in hand then this is a good investment.
