Tessa Kiros's "Venezia" is my absolute favourite, guilty pleasure. I purchased "Venezia" after coming back from a trip to Venice last year. Missing the magic of the place and the food, I was quite pleased to come across this treasure. Now, most recipe books sit on my dusty little shelf as pure gastro-porn, only to be given the occasional perusal and rarely to be cooked from. "Venezia" however, is divine from the beautiful scampi linguine, the rustic and moorish risottos to the elegant but oh-so-decadent tiramisu recipes - Tessa Kiros, I just can't get enough of your book! I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a true, tried and tested representation of Venetian food which is easy to do/follow and even more rewarding to eat from! Buon appetito!
