Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Easily installed the Hazard Perception Test is invaluable with in depth instructions, high quality videos and plenty of them to ensure you don't keep getting the same tests over and over. It clearly explains how to answer the test and because you can review each video after pointing out the hazards it helps gain better understanding of various hazards, how the tests are marked and how to avoid cheating/being accused of cheating or clicking too soon and not gaining any points.
Although this disc mirrors the actual exam it's very beneficial to driving while practicing and after passing your test with non-staged hazards (whereas the test will be mainly/all staged) plus the camera is behind the windshield so there's rain/sun which will reduce visibility whereas the test only has the camera outside the car so doesn't include these problems. The camera is quite restrictive though with the inability to look in various directions. From the menu you can easily check your progress, see which videos you've watched and compare your scores so you can feel more confident knowing what you need to do.
I wouldn't recommend using it regularly if you've not yet got a test coming up as you could end up repeating some of the scenarios so clicking by memory rather than recognising the hazards. There are over 400 videos though so it is worth getting a general understanding by trying a few of them out. If you've got Theory and Practical discs from the same series you can easily switch between the three from the menu. They also recommend buying `Driving Tests All Tests' which includes additional Hazard Perception videos. It's also worth being connected to the internet as it will check for updates every 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend it.
