This review is from: Tomodachi Life (Nintendo 3DS) (Video Game)
Seeing Tomodachi Life on Youtube I felt rather sceptic about it and watching the gameplay and I STILL felt rather neutral about this game as I was sitting on the fence for a while. I bought Tomodachi Life on a whim as I liked Animal Crossing: New Leaf (which is on my number 1 spot) because as a sales assistant once said to me "Sometimes you need to have a game where you can just unwind and relax, where you don't want to be fighting in a dungeon all day." (and I have to agree with that... Who wants to be saving a Princess Peach from Bowser, saving the land of Hyrule from Ganon, training Pokémon etc.)
To make the most of Tamodachi Life I would recommend downloading the Tamodachi Life: Welcome Edition that is included in the game first as you'd get your hands on a panda costume (colours may vary.) and give the other Welcome Edition to a friend.
When playing this game you can put your own Mii's in the game and they become your residents on this little virtual island (where you try and guess what food your Mii likes, dress them, interact with their neighbours etc.)
Now for me I wasn't really creative with my Mii's so I used the QR Code function where I can have premade Mii characters (for me I have the Yogscast on Zoey's channel and Abdallah on my island) and then I became confident enough into making my own characters based from TV shows and the comics I've read. (who says reality and fantasy can't mix?)
But like I said, if you like games like Animal Crossing (without all those crazy fan theories about being abducted by animals.) Tomodachi Life is on my number 2 spot for a simulation game on the 3DS.
