I previously owned the Chamber of Secrets for GameCube, and now the family GC is coming up with multiple errors every time you play I decided to invest in the PC version. What I wasn't expecting was for it to be completely different! In good ways and bad ways. The graphics are much less sophisticated and getting the hang of the controls is confusing, but you press the same key for every spell (no more casting the wrong one by mistake!) and Hogwarts castle and grounds is so much vaster. Seriously, I'm getting lost all the time! The spells include Spongify, which was left out of the Gamecube version and is very useful, and the challenges are even more fun. There are also far more save points, even in the challenges, which is great if you're someone who wants to play little and often rather than in occasional long chunks of time. I'm still only just past the Polyjuice potion part, but am fairly impressed so far. If only Warner Bros could combine all the best elements of each game version into one.
