An insult to any purchaser,
This review is from: Sleepy Hollow [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
I agree completely with the first two reviewers.
The blu-ray is in my view WORSE quality than the DVD. At no point does the picture show any improvement over DVD and there is a significant graininess very visible throughout the film which appears to be due to the transfer process rather than the original film material.
None of the seven extras from the DVD have made it onto the Blu-ray.
The Setup menu consist of two gimmicks. One to adjust contrast, and one to check that sound is coming out of each speaker. Had these not been included the setup menu would be EMPTY because there are no other features on the Blu-ray.
I received this Optimum blu-ray as a gift to replace my DVD copy, and the Blu-ray is basically useless due to the poor picture quality. A message from me to Optimum - I won't be buying any of your other products for the next two years.

Because Amazon insist on lumping all reviews of a title together regardless of the format or edition.

I understand your point but surely these "reviews" are for the product on sale - not simply the intrinsic quality of the original cinema release. This blu ray transfer is appalling and totally unwatchable on video projection. I really wish I had read this review before purchasing. Sleepy Hollow is one of my favourite films and I am so disappointed with this transfer.

Actually I prefer the format and the transfer to be reviewed.. If I wanted to read a review of the movie itself, I'd go to a dedicated movie site...
