While on holiday in Florence I got the opportunity to see the exhibition first hand at the National Photographic Museum of Italy. A stunning look at Bourdin's work in the late 1970's with his muse at the time Nicole Meyer. At the time Bourdin was the premier fashion photographer in the world. This book is a fabulous testament to this with excellent prints and high quality paper. I picked up a copy at the exhibition itself for a fashion photographer friend, but when I got home I decided I wanted a copy as well. Ended up getting it cheaper through amazon than the museum itself and it was delivered fast and well protected. You always fear a large book being damaged (it's between A4 to A3 and about 100+ pages, quite heavy) in transit but this arrived in mint condition.
