Customer Review

on 1 May 2012
This single CD drama is performed by Caroline John, once again doing a super job of bringing Liz Shaw to audio. This hugely enjoyable tale is ideally suited to the small cast format, and captures both the feel of 1970 Doctor Who, and of the views and reactions of the 1970 version of the Jon Pertwee Doctor. There is a clear idea, it is well explored, and Liz Shaw is just the right character to do that. For anyone who enjoys audio Doctor Who, or the Pertwee era, this is well worth a listen. Sit back, ignore the phone, and enjoy. It is also worth thinking about the three excellent readings Caroline has completed of the original Target novels from her year on the show.
