This review is from: Fourth Way Teachings: The Practice of Inner Transformation (Paperback)
"Fourth Way Teachings" is an excellent book, that is evident even though I have just received it, and I am greatly appreciating it.
It has a concise a clear background to the 4th Way journey of 30 pages, and then 200 pages divided by different aspects of Work : "Self-observation", "Vanity", "Negativity" and so on.
Within the aspect chapters mercifully there is no effort to summarise the aspect ... instead it is a collection of insight and descriptions, and also Q & A sections, that paint the aspect into coherence. Which I find much clearer than an author trying to "sum it up" in a concept which normally destroys understanding. The style in this book is engaging giving you an entry into understanding, from there it is up to you.
The layout likewise is clear and straightforward.
It is an ideal and practical book and I feel I can get to Work.
It is a great relief not to have another 4th Way tome of endless stories about the important of Work but no actual Work, or thousands of pages of ancient stories, vanity, and cloak and dagger that makes up much of the 4th Way material available.
My thanks to the author wherever she may be.
