The recent exciting discovery of two rare never before published stories, (with Hercules Poirot,) by Agatha CHristie are featured in this excellent audio CD reading by david Suchet. He is, as other reviewers have commented, a superb choice as he takes us through both mysteries.
The first, (brilliantly narrated by David Suchet with an assortment of different character voices,) is The Capture of Cerberus is an intriguing story where Poirot, who is holidaying in Geneva trying to take his mind off the impending war, meets by chance an old acquaintance that leads to an investigation which requires all of his kills to solve.
The second which was apparently written in 1933, (and later reworked as the Dumb Witness,) with a different murderer and motive. In this one Poirot receives a letter from an elderly lady asking for help. The story takes off from there and is again brought to life by David Suchet.
The CD is just the job for that car journey or that time you can spend on yourself listening to these tales. It can also of course be transferred to your ipod. Recommended.
