Timeless Media Group do not seem to be able to get a decent print of 'Laramie'. The first series is in black and white ( not colour as stated on Amazon ), so I think it fares a little better than the colour episodes. TMG have done what they can with it, but it still looks like an old black and white movie in need of some restoration. I'd rate it about 8 out of 10, maybe a little more. Despite this, the first season was probably the best, as the cast included Robert Crawford Jr. as Slim Sherman's 14-year-old brother Andy and Hoagy Carmichael as Jonesy who did the cooking and cleaning and generally looked after things when the others were away. Surprisingly, both were written out of the series after Season 1, with Andy going off to boarding school in St. Louis, Missouri, although Robert Crawford Jr. still appeared in a few episodes of Season 2. What is now bothering me is the price being put on these dvd boxed sets. They seem to be getting higher and higher! Fortunately, this set can be obtained much cheaper elsewhere.
