Customer Review

19 November 2012
Pit Stop provides a new dimension to career management literature. Written as a workbook, it combines entertaining but thought-provoking exercises spliced with personal stories to move the reader from the stuck position to having a workable career strategy to move forward with.

The reader is encouraged to actively engage in their career decision making by doing the exercises and better still, record the process by blogging, keeping a reflexive diary or working with a coach or friend. Past career decisions are reflected on and learnt from. Mike Higgins doesn't promise any quick fixes but the journey will be fun and meaningful. Next stage is action. A book can't do this for you but having worked through it, you will have a much clearer sense of where to go and what you want out of your working life.
