I just loved series No 1 and 2, but with series No 3 it gets even better. It seems that with the characters the whole series has matured. And that in a very positive sense. It is still very entertaing and beautiful to look at. The acting is much more imprtant compared to the mere naked pleasures of series no 1. All in all, it seems to be much more acturate and historically valuable (even tough I believe that Jane Seymour is a bit too gorgeous). It shows the ruthlessness and violence of the time, not just at court, but in the country at large. The change from catholocism to protestantism was not at all an easy process and costs a lot of lives. The transformation of Henry VIII from pleasure loving young monarch to the the cruel and devious statement is wondefull portrait Jonathan Rhys Meyers I think his performance is superb. It was worthwhile seeing this series. Enjoy!!
