Useless for coarse grinds, cafetieres, percolators, etc.,
This review is from: Dualit Burr Coffee Grinder 75002 (Kitchen & Home)
Bought this for my wife (a barista) based on all the good reviews here, but even the coarsest setting is far too fine for a French press and we are returning it. My wife was really disappointed.
I'm sure this is a great grinder for espresso because it produces a wide range of really fine and even grinds, but my wife says she wouldn't even recommend it for anything coarser than a cone-filter drip coffee machine.

Just bought one and completely agree; the grind is much too fine even on the coarsest setting

Strange contradiction of reviews---no criticism of anyone, but person after you says he can`t grind it fine enough for expesso coffee, the exact opposite. Guess production machines are sooo variable.
