Am currently teaching this subject to a keen group of 10 Year 11 pupils - unfortunately there are a HUGE number of typos, errors and downright ridiculous mistakes in this book, both in the examples for the chapters and in the answers to the set exercises. This means I cannot trust the book and have to rework examples on a regular basis. The calculus chapter was immensely disappointing as there were errors in each of the three examples given. There is very little choice when it comes to books for this course but do not waste your money on this. Wait til the second print run is published as hopefully the errors will have been pointed out to the publishers and it will be a more reliable textbook.
