This review is from: I Love My Slow Cooker: More than 100 of the Best-Ever Slow Cooker Recipes (Paperback)
Good range of recipes, very cosmopolitan: German lentil soup; Cuban Ropa Vieja; Rogan Josh; French Lamb & Flageolet Beans; Iraqi Beef Daube; Israeli Sabbath Brisket; Thai Fish and Coconut Curry...
Appetizing pictures. Layout is generally 1 recipe per double page: picture on 1 page, list of ingredients + 'how to' on the other.
The book is a bit 'fragile' to sit in a kitchen, although it does have a plastic wallet to protect the cover from spills etc.
A lot of these recipes require many, many ingredients, including fresh ones. Not really convenient for people who spend 12+ hours commuting + working: I am not dropping in at Sainsburys or Tesco at 9pm to buy some pumpkin or feta before heading home, and I don't always have the time to visit the supermarket or plan meals for the next week at the weekend.
