When Stephen Wyatt's 'Memorials to the Missing' was broadcast on BBC radio 4 last November I found myself moved - hugely. Finely-nuanced characters and Wyatt's very English humanity brought to life the deliberations of - and decisions made by - The War Graves Commission. Reading the play now, I am struck by the beauty of the dialogue and the elegance of the play's construction. Anyone with ambitions to write or produce radio drama should read it.
