Customer Review

Dan Dennett, along with his excellent lectures and debates on YouTube - is probably the greatest living philosopher and essential listening, viewing and watching for anybody who values scientific enquiry, the human brain and condition and how religion distorts, affects and implants itself into humanity. The book is a VERY careful and tactful and tactical assertion of the man made nature of religion, where the worshipful mentality arose in people and how it manifests itself today - largely in the three Abrahamic faiths, but it also touches, delves and plumbs neurology, psychology and social behaviour with accuracy and research that is indistiputable. A great read and a necessary book as well. Massively recommend!
