Customer Review

on 21 June 2012
William A Wellman, who directed classics such as "Wings" and "Beau Geste" directs this coulourful 20th century fox western, which stars Joel McCrea and Maureen O' Hara in the leading roles. The acting performances are not exactly great, especially Anthony Quinn as an Indian and Joel McCrea, who plays the legendery "Buffalo Bill" acts as if he doesn't want to be involved in the film. But the movie does have great colour for it's year and their are a few entertaining action sequences and the plot is satisfactory, even though none of it is hardly true. This is not what you call oscar winning stuff, but it is watchable and if you are a fan of westerns, this movie is well worth buying.
