This album contains flashes of brilliance and doesn't quite seem long enough to be compared to the well thought out likes of disintegration or pornography. It is, however, better than a pop album like head on the door or japanese whispers (though it is questionable whether it contains better songs). It seems to be common for the Cure to contain reminders of all the different sounds and stages of their career. The scream reminds me of the top, and the only one reminds me of just like heaven. Way better than Wild Mood Swings but No way near as good as kiss me kiss me kiss me. Which is almost impossible to beat anyway.
