Be Careful: Over-Clicking
, 26 Sept. 2012
This review is from: Driving Test Success All Tests DVD 2012 Edition (Interactive DVD) (DVD-ROM)
This is value for money, but as this video-only (Mac users don't have a dedicated version) type of Hazard Test training does not give you feedback on the 'style' of clicking for 'hazard development', there's a chance that you may develop bad habits. Specifically, you may find that you click too many times as the hazard-which-matters starts to develop, and this can cause the pathetic software at the Theory Test Centre's computer to return a 'cheating' score of zero each time that you over-click.
Therefore, if you can, try to use a PC-type of training software as well, or consider the fact that clicking too many times (say, six times instead of three) may lead to zero marks when the pathetic software defaults to cheat detection on the day. IMO, the entire hazard test needs to be redesigned, but that would cost them money, so it won't get done.
