Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Curry: Fragrant Dishes from India, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia (Hardcover)
This is a good cookbook, and certainly worth purchasing. I have only cooked with five of the recipes and four of them were good.

Your review is simply ignorant. You talk about the food cooked in Indian and Bangladeshi restaurants in the UK as if it were the only legitimate sort. In fact, that sort of food is an interpretation of Indian cuisine that has evolved in British restaurants. If that is the sort of food you want to cook, Pat Chapman's various Curry Club cookbooks will help you replicate that style. The food you actually find in India and Bangladesh is very different and you are obviously ignorant of that fact, otherwise you would not have dismissed all cookbooks containing authentic local recipes as a "fraud".
