Erwin Schrodinger would even finish his lectures by declaring, "Hence I am God Almighty" to a bemused Christian audience!
This is the doctrine of 'tan tvam asi, or 'I am that', lunacy, maybe, but in the East, we are all God almighty.
If you cannot accept your spark of divinity, then tell me, is this not a better view of seeing yourself? Is this not a better view than the view that would have you a bag of cells than are programed to die? Isn't it better to be God Almighty than a piece of flesh, a gasp of pain between birth and death?
Practising being God Almighty lifts you out of your dream, like when you take psychedelics; you float above the world. Try it. See your house on Google Earth? Zoom out. Fly up from your house and you never imagined all those trees and parks in your home town. You see further because you are high. Zoom out more and you see the oceans and the mountains and you realise the world is vast and it was only your limited horizon that stopped you seeing beyond you nose.
So repeat, 'I am God Almighty'! So repeat, 'God resides not in the clouds, but behind my eyelids'! Yes, me! I am That!
But if I am God, why can't I feel it?
In these pages is the KEY! Self inquiry is the art of getting back to whence you came.
Look at it this way. You being God almighty is far more sophisticated than another guy being God almighty. Isn't it? The man, the boss, he has no idea who you are and he is blind to the God within himself.
He can't handle the God within, so he believes in the idea of God 'out there', in the world. The God out there is an old man in the sky controlling the flight of every atom in the universe. This is silly; not only does it infantilise the individual, but it happily bleeds away the heart and the head, leaving a sheep in the place of God. The majority of our brothers and sisters follow this silliness. This silly idea is the ammunition that is fattening Richard Dawkins' already fat bank account. Let us fatten our skinny bank accounts, with our version of God.
The events in Galilee will never knock over this wisdom!

Fighting words - but why drag the three-letter obfuscation 'G*d' into it at all?

Hi Simon. Your comments are witty and sound. Some of my reviews are coffee fuelled Blackberry bashing when I can't sleep: hence the typos!
I sometimes do scan and I do spot the odd mistake when somebody leaves a comment... But its slightly narcissistic to go over ones reviews to correct stuff.
The word Gd is definitely over used! I meant the God inside tho. However, you are correct friend :)
