As this is part of the now fully released trilogy this is a comment on it as a whole.
Uno has some great tracks (apart from Kill the DJ which is dire)and whilst other reviewers have commented that it's no 'American Idiot' or '21st Century Breakdown' I'd say that's a good thing and fair play to them for not releasing another album that just sounds like the others. It excites enough to make you look forward to !Dos and whilst, unfortunately, Dos doesn't quite deliver the same punch as Uno (altho it's still not bad) Tre comes in and saves the day with some excellent tracks and lyrics. I think it is the most consistent of the 3 releases in both songwriting and overall sound. In many ways some of the songs remind me of their very early releases & 'The Forgotten' is a fantastic track to finish it all off. Play the 3 albums back to back and you have 2 hours of prime Green Day and you can forgive them the odd mediocre track. This trilogy manages to express their continued enthusiasm & energy and that's not a bad thing considering there are so many manufactured and mediocre releases being shoved out there by the record companies (by bands whose names you won't remember in 5 years time).
