Customer Review

on 5 October 2000
Once again, Johnny "Two Combs" Howard weaves his spell of action and political intrigue to produce his most engrossing book yet. When a US Embassy in South-East Asia is bombed by followers of terrorist Osama bin Laden, the U.S. and U.K. decide it is time to act against the terrorist leader by striking at his stronghold in Afghanistan. Howard balances helpings of action and technical details, with leanings towards the political elements, something which is not found in a lot of the usual ex-special forces writers ' books. The book slowly builds towards a scintillating finalé with the raid on bin Laden's fortress ending in a cliffhanger...... Sheer quality.
