This is my first forray into the world of Everybody's Golf but I must say it's a lot of fun. I have always been a fan of the Tiger Woods games because they were instantly accessible yet ever so deep - thankfully, Everybody's Golf 2 stands up just as well compared to its officially licensed counterpart. Whilst this does not have an official license and has a very cutesy appearance, Everybody's Golf 2 can provide a solid game of golf. It's easy to pick up and play straight out of the box and there are many unlockables to open up by winning tournaments (a lot are 9 hole, which is perfect for portable gaming - although these are 18 hole course so you can play a full round should you so wish).
The online mode is excellent, possibly the best online PSP game I have ever played. It's silky smooth with enough options to keep the player satisfied for quite a while. It's possible to play people from all over the world - I have played in 9 and 18 hole tournaments against people in America, Canada, Japan and elsewhere in Europe. By competing in tournaments it is possible to win further unlockables, thus providing further incentive to play online. The only downside with online play is that it can sometimes be difficult to locate other players to compete with - in theory up to 16 players can play in a tournament, which would be an incredible experience, but in reality the numbers are much lower (average of 4 or 5 players competing).
I have absolutely no regrets in buying this game - there are lots of incentives to keep playing both the single and multiplayer modes. This really is an excellent golf game and quite possibly marginally better than Tiger Woods games on PSP. One of the most fun games available for Sony's portable - highly recommended!
