A welcome return for this long unavailable pop classic from 1987 - with extra tracks to boot. What's it like? Great tunes, intelligent and witty lyrics - the production may be a little rough around the edges here and there but the talent shines through. Songs like "Meet Mohammed" and "Napoleon's Nose" have definitely passed the test of time and "The Silence" is a personal all time favourite. I still don't understand why this record didn't make a bigger splash first time around. I know the singer went on to play with Echo and the Bunnymen after this was released but, if you ask me, this was his finest moment.
