This could have been an enjoyable film sadly spoiled by poor attention to detail. The film is set in 1940 however the RAF pilot and his Royal Marine Captain are depicted wearing flying clothing and kit from much later in the war. The goggles worn by one of the men is correct but the other man's goggles were not introduced until 1943, the helmets 1942, the Mae West is the 1941 pattern, the multipanel Irvin jackets did not come in unttil 1944 and RAF battledress was not introduced until 1943. If making a film portraying a particullar period in time please try and get the detail correct.
Oh, and Rupert Grint's Liverpool accent is rubbish.
