Excellent supplementary ATM book,

This review is from: Amateur Telescope Making (The Patrick Moore Practical Astronomy Series) (Paperback)
If you have some ATM experience, or if you are looking for inspiration, then this is a very good book. It does not cover basic optical work because, as the editor says in the introduction, this is very well covered elsewhere. Get Texereau for this. Some of the projects will require you to use your own imagination and creativity. Others, particularly the mounts and drives, walk you through in great detail. At the other end of the scale, some of the optical projects are not for the squeamish! This book is a supplement, not a substitute, to a collection of modern ATM literature.
