I loved this book. It had me laughing out loud - in public - and caused me to miss my stop on the bus several times. And I Still loved it! Helen Smith is the mistress of the understatement, the sardonic one-liner that captures, perfectly, the absurdity of the character or their situation. It's a drama built on the absurd and escalates inexorably, helped along by lavender-filled handmade chocolates and a conference dinner. It will appeal to anyone who likes their crimes edged with razor sharp wit and to anyone who has organised, or even attended, a conference, or who has organised anything at all with a group of women. It's the perfect `down time' read. Buy it and enjoy it, you wont be disappointed.
