The reason I really like this monitor is because you can easily connect it with a number of devices at the same time, which means you save time from connecting and disconnecting cables. It has a VGA port for older PCs, hdmi port, scart, etc. On top of that you can watch tv, and listen to music or watch video straight from your usb device. All this adds up to one word: multi-purpose (and at a fairly good price too). Picture customization offers quite a lot of options for you to play with, until you mould the display into something that suits your eyes. "Samsung magic angle" is very helpfull too, introducing some abstraction to the screen brightness customization. Finding the display too bright or too dark? With this feature, Samsung makes sure you can adjust it in no time. Having compared a few TVs during the past 5 years, I am now quite convinced that Samsung just know how to do it... The only weak point on this specific monitor would be the sound; by no means is it bad, but it definately could have been better.
