This review is from: 52mm Crown Flower Shape Petal Lens Hood For Nikon D7100 D7000 D5300 D5500 D5200, D3300 D3100 D3200 D80 D600 D700 D800 D300 D1,D2,D3 DSLR (Camera)
I have just recently purchased my first DSLR (Nikon D5100) so am slowly buying things that i think i need and should have.

From limited reading that i've done, this was one of the items that I believed that I should have. And it is. The few times i have used it the item has been useful and considering its low cost you should have one if it is compatible with your lens.

Hey, I have the 18-55mm lens. And it did fit. Though someone in a high street camera shop said that for that size you didn't need one. Which I don't agree with. But then I don't know anything about these things lol. Worth having i believe

sorry I have the same camera and lens and I bought one before an didn't fit ovr my filter, can you just let me know if you had a filter lens on this and if it fit over the filter

It should fit any lens with a 52mm filter thread and therefore also on top of any filter with a 52mm thread.
