i bought this book back in june, it does refer to a lot of american researches, but that actually made me realise just how bad some people let themselves go!! and i don't wish to be 1 of them! lol!
there are quite a few different menus listed in this book and if you can find all the ingredients then great, but there were a few that aren't anywhere to be found in my local shops.
the good thing about this book is that it's not a strict diet, you don't live off small portions of rabbit food, infact, they encourage you to eat 6 meals a day! and you can still eat your favourite pizzas, steaks etc as a treat once a week..(i try to avoid doing this personally). Although i don't use the menus, the book has taught me to experiment with new foods, what to look for, what to avoid and how to make the best of the healthy foods that are out there..so far i havent eaten any chips (which i used to eat daily).
at the end of the book is also a wide range of exercise plans..all with pictures for anyone who doesn't know the titles for different moves, which makes this book a really great buy!!..it's working for me anyway :D
