Customer Review

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 June 2015
Be aware that benchmarks can be heavily influenced by many outside factors - USB chipset, bus speed, general system resources. I re-ran the benchmarks mentioned in another review, and received much more favourable results on my system.

System:

Intel Core i7 5930K @ 3.50GHz
16.0GB Dual Channel memory @ 1087MHz
ASUS X99-A motherboard
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

Results:

CrystalDiskMark 4.0.3: Best result (sequential) 226.4 MB/s read, 201.9 MB/s write.
Roadkil's Disk Speed 2.0: 254.91 MB/s
AS SSD Benchmark 1.8.5611: Best result (sequential) 254 MB/s read, 190 MB/s write

As you can see, in my experience the performance of this flash drive is excellent.

My only complaint is that there is a slight design issue. When I usually insert flash drives into my machine, I tend to grip the drive firmly. When I do this, the "slider" gets depressed slightly and this causes the connector to retract slightly when being pushed in, so it doesn't make good contact. It's just a matter of learning to push the drive in from the back rather than from the middle of the drive.
