Pattern information from the 1890's, 'when imported custom-made clothes were usually beyond the financial reach of the average middle-class americans'. Making it yourself or looking at local dressmakers patterns was the only two options. 50 garments from the pattern book of a drassmaker are covered here. This book contains helpful information (although the lack of a grid, makes the dressmakers job - VERY HARD) The reason why I have only given it 2 stars (I am not good enough at freescale drawing!). I also found some of the patterns hard to understand in comparision to modern patterns. Gives all measurements of pattens in imperial measurements.
