Customer Review

on 14 August 2013
Hovered for days over whether to buy one (in part due to very limited catch up TV, no ITV player, no Channel 4 or 5 catch/OD, no LoveFilm, no browser, and single input only scart) but decided in the end to give it a try. It powered up, tuned in all the available channels including the 4 HD ones. Within two minutes of displaying an HD channel, the picture showed pixelated artifacts, then intermittently a blank screen, then a 'no signal' screen on all HD channels. Tried a retuning which then could only load SD channels, tried replacing all cables and connecting via HDMI to a digital projector instead of TV. All to no avail. 'Computer says no'. 'This parrot is dead'. Obviously some component in the HD/HDMI circuitry failed as soon as it warmed up. So much for quality control. I should really give it 'nul points' but the best I can do on this site is give it a more than generous one star. Came from Amazon Marketplace, and supplier was happy to give full refund.
