Finally, Cordy gets her big break, but, as usual, not everything is as it seems, and that's only the Prologue to this book. The main story sees Angel and co, investigating several ritualistic murders, and, in true Whedon-verse style, shows that our heroes are not infallible, that they make mistakes. Yet another wonderful piece of work from Chris Golden, who proves that even though Doyle is gone he is, in no way, forgotten. The stories themselves earn this title the 4 stars I've given it, and the wonderful excert concerning the artwork on the original Dark Horse publications earns the 5th. All in all, a wonderful title that earns it's place on anyone's bookshelf. Like I said .... awesome.
